Core values

MSBKN’s members, staff and volunteers will be guided in their daily behavior in work as well as non-work situations by the following core values:

  • Honesty and sincerity in personal as well as professional activities
  • Efficiency and thriftiness in personal as well as professional activities
  • Non-discrimination of individuals based on caste, class, religion, region, age and health status

Guiding principles

The following principles guide the design and implementation of all activities by MSBKN:

  • Financial transparency (to target groups, regulators, collaborators, the donors, and other stakeholders)
  • Accountability (to target groups, regulators, collaborators, the donors, and other stakeholders)
  • Participatory approach (with the target groups, regulators, collaborators, the donors, and other stakeholders)
  • Inclusiveness in terms of gender, caste, religion, sex, class, and geographical region in staffing as well as in programming
  • Informed program targeting (geographical working area and target group) based on the accepted indicators of poverty and exclusion

MSBKN firmly believes that most partners and collaborators will have no problems with these principles. In specific situations, the list of the guiding principles will be enlarged or adapted as needed.
